**Field and node**

Field is ontic identity: the self-evidencing reality of awareness/Being that is not an object in experience, not a property of the organism, and not a product of thought, matter, history, or system. It is that by virtue of which any object, organism, thought, world, or system appears at all.

node is operational horizon: the finite, situated locus through which the Field appears and acts as this body, mind, memory, perspective, relation, constraint, and consequence. The node includes not only embodiment and psychology, but also the local interfaces of law, language, economy, technology, and institutional condition.

Field and node are inseparable in appearance but not equivalent in rank. Field is ontically primary; node is operationally necessary. No manifestation appears without a node-like horizon, and no node exists apart from the Field. Thus the Field is never elsewhere than the node, while the node is never self-grounding apart from the Field.

This yields three non-negotiable laws:

1. I am Field.
2. I act as this node.
3. Field-truth must never be used to cancel node-responsibility, and node-conditions must never be used to deny Field-identity.

This structure prevents two symmetrical corruptions. Field without node becomes spiritual bypass, metaphysical exemption, and counterfeit transcendence: the absolute is invoked to evade duty, limit, repair, and consequence. node without Field becomes flat materialism, determinist capture, and ontological amnesia: identity is reduced to mechanism, conditioning, or circumstance.

A sound metaphysics therefore preserves ontic nonduality and operational finitude together. Identity belongs to the Field. Responsibility belongs to the node. Realization does not abolish consequence, and consequence does not exhaust identity. Ontic identity with the Field does not grant nodal omniscience, innocence, or exemption; the node remains finite, situated, and accountable. By the same principle, nodal limitation does not negate the Field as the real ground of identity.

Only this co-presence preserves transcendence without dissociation and embodiment without reduction.
